Karma Box at St. Peter’s

On Sunday, January 12, Preston Emborsky, grandson of parishioners Tom and Isobel Streenan, unveiled his Eagle Scout project at our 10:00 am service. Preston built seven Karma Boxes to be distributed throughout Carson City. A Karma Box can be filled with non-perishable food items, toiletries, and warm clothing for the winter, and water in the summer. Advent Musings

On a cold December Thursday, after Morning Prayer at Coventry Cross, The Rev. Children Help Others

Congratulations to our Sunday School children, who over the course of two weeks raised $1,001.50 for the “Gifts for Life Children’s Care Package” organized by Episcopal Relief and Development. Empower communities to help children up to age six thrive and achieve their full potential: care for five moms & their newborns; nurture & nourishment for 12 children; clean water for a family; mosquito nets & training for 10 families; and four savings & loan group memberships.
