Vestry
The vestry is the legal representative of the parish with regard to all matters pertaining to its corporate property. Vestry members are usually elected at the annual parish meeting. The presiding officer of the vestry is the rector.
The basic responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to support the church’s mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances.

The Very Rev Jeffery Paul
The Very Reverend Jeffery Paul, Rector Jeff was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, of Polish Catholic descent. He moved to southern California to begin high school, completed his B.S. in psychology and sociology at Cal State Fullerton while working as a community organizer. St. Peter’s is fortunate to have a highly trained teacher who leads the Godly Play class with kind and loving assistants. Godly Play helps children become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives. Our Godly Play program is offered from September thru May.
