Collectible vintage (est. 1940’s) textile piece in the very popular Sunbonnet Sue motif. Suitable as a queen bed topper, a twin bed coverlet, or a charming wall hanging at 75” x 82”. Ecru, hand-stitched appliqué blocks joined with machine-tatted bands. In excellent condition. On a cold December Thursday, after Morning Prayer at Coventry Cross, The Rev. Elizabeth Tattersall showed me a felt banner called Our Advent Journey made by Deb Rogers-McCabe, one of her parishioners. The flames detach and can be added each week. Congratulations to our Sunday School children, who over the course of two weeks raised $1,001.50 for the “Gifts for Life Children’s Care Package” organized by Episcopal Relief and Development. Empower communities to help children up to age six thrive and achieve their full potential: care for five moms & their newborns; nurture & nourishment for 12 children; clean water for a family; mosquito nets & training for 10 families; and four savings & loan group memberships.
