Nights off the Street

Nights off the Street, or NOTS, is a program operated by volunteers in several local churches, including St. Peter’s. The program gives dozens of Carson City homeless a place to sleep each night during winter from November through March.

Three to four-hour shifts for pairs of volunteers run from 8:30 pm to 7:00 am. Volunteers can view the NOTS schedule to see what shifts you might be able to volunteer for. You can then email notscarson@gmail.com to sign up for the dates/times you have selected. There is a particular need for male volunteers.
