Christmas Day Celebration We will join together in fellowship on Christmas morning to celebrate Jesus’ birth. Canon Theologian, Chuck McCray will lead a morning prayer service. Lunch will be hosted by Chuck and TeeJay after the service. Bring your joyful hearts and hearty appetites.

Advent Spiritual Study
Living Well through Advent Join this four-week fellowship and spiritual study as we practice peace through the season of Advent. The study will take place in the parish hall after the 10 am Sunday service starting Sunday, December 1. A simple soup lunch will be provided. For additional information, contact Fr. Blue Christmas & Labyrinth
Blue Christmas Service with Luminaries on the Labyrinth A Blue Christmas service is a quiet, contemplative service that usually happens near the winter solstice; the day which has the longest night and the shortest day. It is symbolic of our darker nights when we find ourselves grieving, lonely, or longing for something better. This is also an opportunity to find quiet amongst the busy-ness of the holiday season that can sometimes feel overwhelming.
Living Nativity
Visit the Living Nativity Join our friends and neighbors at the First United Methodist Church for their annual living nativity. You may drive or walk the nativity. The event is free and they will be collecting non-perishable food for F.I.S.H. The Living Nativity will be on display the following evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
First Annual Tamale Festival
Tamale Festival Join us in celebrating the holidays with tamales, live music, dancing, and games for the whole family. Don’t forget your appetite! Victorian Home (& Church) Tour
St. Peter’s will be a stop on the “Sugar Plum Victorian Christmas Tour,” Saturday, Dec. 14 being hosted by the Carson City Historical Society. Tours start at noon, 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2 p.m., at the Carriage House, behind the Foreman Roberts House, 1207 N. Carson St. Tickets may be purchased online at www.CCHistorical.org. Caregiver’s Exchange Group
The St. Peter’s Caregivers’ Exchange Group provides a caring atmosphere to meet others who understand. They provide information and fellowship for anyone who is a caregiver. This support group typically meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. However the dates have been changed for November and December to accommodate the holidays. Social Gathering This social is for those who are isolated at home or may have a situation that makes it challenging find opportunities to socialize. We have a fun time with crafts, tea & cookies, talking, musicians, etc. December 7 we will be frosting cupcakes for the following Sunday Coffee Hour. Annual Parish Meeting + Potluck
Our annual all-parish meeting and potluck brunch takes place the 3rd Sunday of November. This is a time to celebrate our church family and discuss business matters of the church as presented by the Vestry. There is one service at 9 am and the potluck and annual meeting business afterward.
