Caregiver’s Exchange Group
The St. Peter’s Caregivers’ Exchange Group provides a caring atmosphere to meet others who understand. They provide information and fellowship for anyone who is a caregiver. This support group typically meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. However the dates have been changed for November and December to accommodate the holidays. Brown Baggers AA

Victorian Home (& Church) Tour
St. Peter’s will be a stop on the “Sugar Plum Victorian Christmas Tour,” Saturday, Dec. 14 being hosted by the Carson City Historical Society. Tours start at noon, 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2 p.m., at the Carriage House, behind the Foreman Roberts House, 1207 N. Carson St. Tickets may be purchased online at www.CCHistorical.org. Living Nativity
Visit the Living Nativity Join our friends and neighbors at the First United Methodist Church for their annual living nativity. You may drive or walk the nativity. The event is free and they will be collecting non-perishable food for F.I.S.H. The Living Nativity will be on display the following evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
First Annual Tamale Festival
Tamale Festival Join us in celebrating the holidays with tamales, live music, dancing, and games for the whole family. Don’t forget your appetite! Blue Christmas & Labyrinth
Blue Christmas Service with Luminaries on the Labyrinth A Blue Christmas service is a quiet, contemplative service that usually happens near the winter solstice; the day which has the longest night and the shortest day. It is symbolic of our darker nights when we find ourselves grieving, lonely, or longing for something better. This is also an opportunity to find quiet amongst the busy-ness of the holiday season that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

Prayer Shawl Knitters
The Prayer Shawls Knitters have spread prayers and warm to thousands of people through this ministry. Prayer shawls are created by the group and made available to anyone who needs some warmth, care, and love in a time of need. No experience is necessary.
