EVERYONE IS INVITED! This is not just for clergy, wardens, and delegates. We hope everyone from our churches will be there. It is a day to celebrate our call to help people follow Jesus. We are very much looking forward to seeing you!
The day’s schedule:
10AM – Morning Prayer
11AM – Activities, social time
12 – Lunch
1PM – Stump the Bishop
2PM – Eucharist
This is also Pride day in Carson City (we learned AFTER we made our plans!) So you may want to plan time after Eucharist to check out the Pride festival just two block from St. Peter’s!
Planned activities include the labyrinth (with a brief explanation of the spirituality of walking the labyrinth), a paint-your-own-icon station, some music (possibly a DJ – not adverse to karaoke but haven’t found a system) and some “tailgate games” available (cornhole, horseshoes)
Lunch will be catered sandwich trays, chips, cookies.
Stump the Bishop – (Always fun!)
Eucharist – Our newest priest, The Rev. Hannah Wilder, will preach. The bishop will preside.
