Our Maundy Thursday observance begins with an Agape Supper at 6:15 pm, which includes special blessings of our meal and the reading a portion of Jesus’ Last Priestly Prayer from the Gospel of John.
Following supper we will celebrate Holy Eucharist and recall Jesus Institution of the Lord’s Supper, as well as participate in the foot washing, as Jesus did for his friends on their last night together, commanding them to Love One Another. That it the mandatum or command that Jesus gives us all.
