Holy Week: Maundy Thursday

Maundy Thursday We start our Maundy Thursday observance with our version of a Seder meal and foot washing led by Pam Ertel and our youth. Young and old alike are invited to join in. A Service of Lament allows the congregation to cry out together to God, to lament what cannot be regained, to release what no longer serves, to hear again God’s promise, and to give thanks for God’s steadfast love. Contemporary Service

Lenten Lunch Study

Everyone is Welcome for Lenten Lunches Just a Reminder, we are having a lenten lunch study! Booklets in English and Spanish are available in the parish hall. Take one to a Spanish-speaking friend and invite them to join us. Fr. Michael has joined the Pam and Hallie team for the study this season. He will guide us through the practice of Lectio Divina. St. Peter’s and NOTS are hosting the Carson City debut screening of the documentary “A City In Crisis”. This documentary shines a harsh light on the reality of the unhoused in Washoe County. The producer, Bob Conrad, PhD. will introduce the film and NOTS will foster discussion about this important topic and how it affects the community of Carson City.
